Job summary

LHH is looking for a Regional Accounting Director based in New Jersey. This role requires overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's in accounting, a CPA, and significant experience in finance or accounting, especially within manufacturing. Compensation ranges from $190,000 to $225,000 with an additional 15% bonus. The position also offers benefits like medical, dental, a 401k plan, profit sharing, and paid time off.

• 10+ years of Global or Regional Finance or Accounting Experience.
• 5+ years leading Accounting within the Manufacturing or Distribution industries.
• Must have exposure to consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Internal audit to enforce internal controls.
• Oversee the transition of reporting to a specialized team.
• Ensure robust financial reporting systems are in place.
• Provide support for M&A activities in the region.

We are working with the North American CFO of a Global Manufacturing company based in Middlesex County, NJ. They are looking for a dynamic Regional Accounting Director to join their organization. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all accounting operations across the region, ensuring timely submission and compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
• Work with Internal audit and internal control department to develop, implement and enforce strong internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Oversee the transition of reporting and analytics functions to a specialized team, ensuring clarity and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure robust financial reporting systems are in place to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful information for decision‑making
• Provide support for M&A activities in the region, including financial due diligence, integration, and compliance oversight

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA Preferred
• CPA
• 10+ years of Global or Regional Finance or Accounting Experience
• 5+ years leading Accounting within the Manufacturing or Distribution industries
• Must have exposure to consolidations
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS
• Expert user of SAP and Hyperion

COMPENSATION

$190,000 - $225,000 + 15% Bonus
