Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking a Regional Finance Director for North America. In this hybrid role, you will own the regional accounting and finance function, guiding budgeting, forecasting, audit, and statutory reporting while leading a dispersed team.

You will partner with the Regional Business Director and the Global Finance Leadership Team to translate financial performance into business decisions, and you will interact with the Group CFO to shape strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• International company experience; Canada region a plus.
• Public accounting experience — Big 4 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the full regional accounting and finance function, incl. budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive governance and controls across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and banking.
• Partner with Regional Business Director to connect financial performance to business decisions.
• Lead and grow a dispersed regional finance team, setting excellence and collaboration standards.
• Represent the region within the Global Finance Leadership Team and contribute to group initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Own the full regional accounting and finance function, from management accounting, budgeting and forecasting through to audit, statutory reporting and annual accounts
• Drive financial governance and controls across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and banking
• Act as a true strategic partner to the Regional Business Director and leadership team, connecting financial performance to real business decisions
• Lead, mentor and grow a dispersed regional finance team, setting the standard for excellence and collaboration
• Represent the region within the Global Finance Leadership Team, contributing to group-wide initiatives and best practices
