Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Regional Accountant to support a portfolio of apartment communities. You will prepare and review monthly operating statements, reconcile cash and balance sheet accounts, and assist with tax compliance and reconciliations in a multi-state context.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance, 1+ year of accounting experience, and proficiency with Excel and Google apps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred.
• 1+ years accounting experience required or preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Google applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly operating statements for assigned portfolio.
• Reconcile cash/bank and balance sheet accounts; maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with sales and use tax reporting and other tax-related duties.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners; participate in special projects.
