Job description

We are seeking candidates to interview for the position of Senior Corporate Accountant for a privately held company in the Hampton, VA area that owns and manages apartment communities across the Southeastern United States. The primary responsibilities of the role are financial and investor reporting and distributions for multiple entities. The position will also assist in property tax returns, applications and renewals and account reconciliations and variance analyses among others.

To be qualified, you must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration and at least 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years of real estate accounting experience, ideally multifamily apartment experience. Candidates must know Quickbooks and experience with RealPage/OneSite is preferred.
