Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Sr Tax Manager to lead the tax team through income, franchise and other tax compliance for Vivmark Residential and related entities. Responsible for timely preparation and review of returns, 1031 exchanges, and related reporting.

The role will drive planning, process improvements and staff development, with onsite Mon-Thu and remote Fridays in a hybrid schedule. Strong partnership tax background required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; master’s degree preferred.
• Approximately six plus years of total related tax experience; partnership tax emphasis.
• Public accounting experience with partnership tax is desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple processes and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and ensures timely filing of partnership tax returns.
• Reviews partnership and corporate tax documents for accuracy.
• Manages 1031 exchange calculations and tax reporting.
• Prepares tax returns and related filings as needed.
• Plans and implements tax process improvements and controls.
