Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc. (AWG) is seeking an accounting professional to assist with the division support center activities.

You will analyze weekly financials, support period-end reporting, and prepare journal entries and reconciliations, collaborating with management to understand drivers of results. The role emphasizes adherence to company policy and cross-functional collaboration across regions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; other Office apps helpful.
• Knowledge of SCM, PeopleSoft and Monarch preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across all levels.

Mansioni

• Timely preparation, analysis, and review of weekly financials.
• Review of period-end financial results and variance analysis.
• Complete account reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Translate financial impact using various systems and software.
• Ensure compliance with evolving accounting guidance across the organization.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and variances for projects.
• Collaborate with business areas to identify process improvements.
