The Opportunity:

moozoom seeks a seasoned Regional (Texas) Account Executive to drive revenue growth by targeting, pitching, and closing new K12 clients in Texas. You will be responsible for expanding our client base, building relationships with K12 school districts and ESCs, and effectively communicating our solutions' value proposition. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in K12 sales, established district relationships in Texas, is self-motivated, and can work remotely with high autonomy.

As a Regional Account Manager, you will:
  1. Canvas, pitch, and close new partnerships within strategic markets
  2. Develop account strategies, goals, objectives, and action plans
  3. Build market position by establishing business relationships at district and state levels within the K-12 space
  4. Deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to decision-makers
  5. Nurture and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
  6. Develop a deep understanding of our research, content, and key selling points, acting as the product contact
  7. Work autonomously to acquire proficiency in the SEL landscape and market knowledge
  8. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective sales journeys, driving upsell and renewal opportunities
  9. Stay informed on funding opportunities and critical deadlines for districts and management
  10. Keep abreast of educational marketplace trends
  11. Align our product with key state education priorities
  12. Manage weekly sales forecasting and review sales performance regularly
  13. Track activities in HubSpot, manage lead pipelines, and meet/exceed sales quotas
Requirements
  1. 5+ years in K12 sales with a proven record of meeting/exceeding targets
  2. Strong network within Texas K12 school districts
  3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  4. Self-motivated, independent, and capable of remote work
  5. Willingness to travel for meetings and events
  6. Experience with CRM software for managing leads and activities
  7. Knowledge of the K12 education landscape and familiarity with SEL programs is a plus
  8. Based in Texas is mandatory
