The Opportunity

moozoom is looking for a seasoned Regional (Texas) Account Executive to drive revenue growth by targeting, pitching, and closing new K12 clients in Texas. You will expand our client base, build relationships with K12 school districts and ESCs, and communicate the value of our solutions. The ideal candidate has a successful track record in K12 sales, strong district relationships in Texas, is self-motivated, and can work remotely with high autonomy.

As a Regional Account Manager, You Will
  • Identify, pitch, and close new partnerships within strategic markets.
  • Develop strategic account plans with goals and objectives.
  • Establish and develop business relationships at district and state levels within K-12.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to decision-makers.
  • Nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Understand our product thoroughly and serve as the main contact for product-related inquiries.
  • Work independently to gain expertise in the SEL landscape and market trends.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure an effective sales journey, including upselling and renewals.
  • Stay informed about funding opportunities and critical deadlines for districts and management.
  • Monitor educational marketplace trends.
  • Align our product with key state education department priorities.
  • Manage weekly sales forecasting and review sales performance regularly.
  • Track sales activities in Hubspot, manage leads, and meet/exceed sales quotas.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in K12 sales with a proven record of achieving targets.
  • Strong network within Texas K12 school districts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of remote work.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
  • Experience with CRM software for managing leads and sales activities.
  • Knowledge of the K12 education landscape and familiarity with SEL programs is advantageous.
  • Must be based in Texas.
