Job summary

thyssenkrupp Polysius North America, Inc. is seeking a Regional Account Representative to lead a defined territory and drive revenue from spare parts, field service, and equipment upgrades.

You will build strong customer relationships, deliver technical expertise, and develop long-term growth plans for cement and related industries. The role requires traveling to customer sites, presenting solutions, and collaborating with engineering to meet customer needs while achieving fiscal targets.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED with sales in industrial/cement sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of cement or non-cement plant equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Inherent ability to work effectively in a team and drive results.
• Organizational and time-management skills; reliable follow-up.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a long-term strategic Sales plan for each customer.
• Grows existing accounts in revenue while maintaining gross margins for services.
• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities in cement and non-cement customers.
• Conducts site visits and maintains frequent, meaningful customer communication.
• Collaborates with engineering to provide technical solutions to customers.
