Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to initiate and manage prescribed respiratory care procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Position is on-site with evening shifts and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include maintaining and discontinuing therapies, monitoring patient response, and providing care for diverse age groups including ICU, neonatal, and pediatric patients. Requires NBRC registration and IL license, with BLS/ACLS/NRP within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care is required.
• Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license is required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, maintains, and discontinues basic and intensive respiratory therapy techniques as prescribed.
• Monitors and adjusts therapies based on patient condition and response to treatment.
• Care provided to patients across ICU, neonatal, and pediatric settings.

Schedule

Full Time, Evening Shift 1:30pm-12:00am Rotating Weekends $20,000 Sign-on Bonus

Education

Graduate of approved Respiratory Therapy Program

Licensure/Certification/Registry

• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care required.
• Possesses a valid and active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and NRP provider or instructor certifications required within 1 year of hire.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Demonstrates the ability to provide respiratory care and therapy to patients of all ages and conditions, including intensive care, neonatal, and pediatric patients.

Pay Transparency

• $31.51 - $48.83
• Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role.
• Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
