Responsibilities

• Perform OB ultrasound studies in all trimesters including trans-vaginal US, Doppler flow, AFI, BPP, fetal echo, and portable studies.
• Provide guidance for invasive procedures.
• Travel to satellite offices when needed.
• Educate medical students, OB residents and US students in obstetrical ultrasound.
• Maintain proper cleaning protocols for all transducers and US machines.
• Help keep inventory of room stock, restock exam room and manage end-of-day tasks.

Short Description

• Perform the following ultrasound studies in an independent and professional manner. Complete OB ultrasound in all trimesters. Detailed first and second trimester US. Trans-vaginal US, Doppler flow (umbilical artery, MCA, Uterine artery), Amniotic Fluid Index, BPP, Fetal echo, portable study when needed, Provide guidance for invasive procedures.
• Perform study with Knowledge of pts diagnosis and history.
• Travel to satellite offices when needed
• Use proper cleaning protocols for all transducers and US machines
• Work with medical students, OB residents and US students to educate them in obstetrical ultrasound
• Help keep inventory of room stock, restock exam room and empty laundry at end of day.

Experience Required

• 0-2 Years experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasounds Required
• 3-5 Years Preferred
• Possess knowledge of normal and abnormal fetal anatomy and GYN anatomy.

Education Requirements

• Graduate of Ultrasound School.

License/Certification Requirements

• Certification in OB/GYN
• Current ARDMS - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

• Hourly Rate Max $56
