Job summary

Atlas Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Reconditioning Technician in Boise, ID to support repair and refurbishment operations. This role focuses on cleaning, decontamination, preparation, reassembly, and packaging of mechanical and electrical subassemblies.

The ideal candidate has mechanical experience with basic electrical wiring, circuit boards, and soldering knowledge, and is comfortable using common hand tools and shop equipment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical experience.
• Basic knowledge of wiring and circuit board repair.
• Basic soldering experience.
• Ability to cut, strip, and connect electrical wires.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Experience using common hand tools, drills, sanders, and similar equipment.
• Electrical/circuitry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with technicians to clean, decontaminate, and prepare parts for reassembly.
• Reassemble parts and prepare completed components for shipment.
• Use common hand tools, sanders, drills, and other shop equipment.
• Cut, strip, and connect electrical wires.
• Perform basic soldering and electrical repairs.
• Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• Enter time and parts information into Epicor.
• Track parts and work performed.
• Follow required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
