Job summary

Maker's Pride in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems across our plant. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and keep PM documentation; Day Shift 5:30am–6pm, rotating weekly.

Requirements include a 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Able to read equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Maintain PM documentation and use GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and safety policies.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Detect faulty operations and report to maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts and jobs.
• Perform work safely and follow GMP practices at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
