Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform diversified mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, equipment and plant facilities. You will conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, read manuals, diagnose problems, replace parts, and ensure GMPs and safety policies are followed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office to order parts and schedule jobs is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-year trades degree or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.
• Able to communicate with sanitation manager and line workers, leads, supervisors, and plant manager.
• Legible record-keeping and data entry skills.
• Highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Welding and fabrication; understanding of 3-phase electrical and motor controls; troubleshoot AC & DC drives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Detect faulty operations and report to the facility maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts and jobs.
• Perform work safely and follow GMPs at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
