Husky Technologies in Milton, VT is hiring an Assembly Technician (Refurbishment). You will inspect, repair, rebuild and test customer-owned hot runner systems used in injection molding, following drawings and procedures to restore equipment to peak condition.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read mechanical drawings/work instructions.
• Experience using hand/power/pneumatic tools and reading diagrams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect and evaluate hot runner systems and components from customers.
• Document inspection findings and identify components requiring repair or refurbishment.
• Clean, repair, rebuild and reassemble mechanical components per drawings and specs.
• Install, fit and adjust components for proper fit, form and function.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools and fixtures safely.
• Perform product testing, inspections and heat testing to verify quality.
• Identify equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting.
• Complete production, inspection and quality documentation.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Communicate quality or assembly concerns to supervisors and teammates.
• Collaborate with team to meet production, quality and delivery objectives.
