Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Refurbishment team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will inspect, repair, rebuild, test and restore customer-owned hot runner systems used in leading injection molding applications, working from drawings and standard procedures to return equipment to peak condition.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Communication, organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel and Word).
• Understand, write and speak basic and technical English.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect and evaluate hot runner systems and components from customers.
• Document inspection findings and identify components needing repair or refurbishment.
• Clean, repair, rebuild and reassemble mechanical components per drawings and instructions.
• Install, fit and adjust components to ensure proper fit and function.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools and fixtures safely.
• Perform product testing and heat testing to verify quality and performance.
• Collaborate with team to meet production, quality and delivery objectives.
