Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Refund Analyst for our Western Region Consolidated Business Office (WCBO) in a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM role. The position focuses on identifying and validating overpaid insurance claims and initiating refund requests from insurance companies, requiring strong contract knowledge and financial acumen.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with medical contracts and claims, familiarity with hospital payer contracts, and proficiency in Excel,

Qualifications

• 2+ years medical contracts and claims experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hospital acute care payer contracts.
• Articulate with medical insurance terminology.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and 10-key data entry.

Job Description: Refund Analyst Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

The Refund Analyst is responsible for identifying and validating overpaid insurance claims and initiating refund requests from medical insurance companies. This role requires a thorough understanding of contract terms and financial acumen to accurately interpret and communicate relevant details. Additionally, the Refund Analyst collaborates closely with external teams to ensure timely resolution and compliance with company policies.
