Job summary

World Relief seeks a full-time Children & Youth Specialist to help refugee and other immigrant students adjust to life in America as a youth. This role serves as a liaison between families and local schools, assisting birth through high school students with education access and community services.

This position starts as soon as possible and is limited-term through June 30, 2027, focusing on early childhood and K-12 services, youth clubs, and partnerships with schools and community partners.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith and alignment with World Relief's mission.

• Experience with children/youth and navigating education systems.

Responsibilities

• Early Childhood Case Management: meet families with 0–5-year-olds; assist WIC enrollment and education; refer to community resources.
• K-12 School & Family Services: support immigrant youth enrollment; assist with fee waivers and lunch applications; liaise with schools.
• Youth Clubs Participation: manage after-school clubs; record data and attendance; facilitate enrollment.
• Administrative Responsibilities: maintain case notes and files; participate in meetings and partner relations.
