Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a Medical Coordinator to arrange and coordinate health services for children in care, maintain medical records, and communicate health needs to case managers and clinicians. The role includes scheduling appointments, transporting clients, and ensuring translation services where needed.

You will stay current with agency and regulatory requirements, support billing accuracy, and participate in on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of employment in public health or healthcare with care coordination or health administration experience.
• LPN/LVN or RN with a bachelor's degree, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health services for children in care, maintain confidential medical records, and notify case managers.
• Schedule health care appointments and arrange transportation to visits.
• Serve as liaison with community health care providers and ensure translation services when needed.
• Ensure compliance with agency, licensing, and contract requirements; manage billing accuracy.
