Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Care Coordinator for the Refugee Resettlement Program. You will help refugees transition into the workforce by developing employment opportunities, building employer partnerships, and leading employment readiness workshops.

This role emphasizes advocacy and individualized client support, with opportunities for local travel and occasional evening hours to meet client needs. LSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, email, and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized service plans to help refugee clients achieve employment goals.
• Assess client needs, strengths, barriers, and opportunities for employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local employers to identify opportunities.
• Conduct weekly employment workshops on workplace expectations, job readiness, and related topics.
• Coordinate services and connect clients with community resources and supports.
• Maintain timely documentation per program requirements and funder guidelines.
• Prepare monthly and other required reports for funders.
• Flexibly schedule evenings or weekends as needed by clients.
