Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician for the 2ND SHIFT in the United States. The role focuses on monitoring, controlling, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration equipment, steam systems, compressed air, water distribution, and condensate return, using CMMS/SAP and other test equipment.

Responsibilities include completing all utilities maintenance, documentation, equipment installation, housekeeping, and adherence to safety and GMP/SQF

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.

Responsibilities

• Complete all utilities maintenance.
• Perform all necessary documentation of activities.
• Install equipment on all utility systems.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Keep all work areas clean.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to complete all paperwork CMMS/SAP functions.
• Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• Perform any other work as assigned by management.
