Job summary

Authorized Commercial Equip is seeking experienced technicians to repair commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment. Most work is within driving radius around Charlotte, NC, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The role requires EPA certification, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read schematics. A high school diploma or GED is required, with on-call shifts and overtime as needed; a company vehicle and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical experience with commercial refrigeration equipment.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid EPA Certificate.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to work rotating on-call shifts and overtime if needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls as dispatched.
• Diagnose and repair reported service issues and all other problems encountered.
• Accurately detail all activities on service orders.
• Operate and manage company issued vehicle and equipment.
• Work in accordance of company guidelines.
• Identify potential failures of current functioning equipment.

• Valid EPA Certificate
• Ability to work as a team with customers, co-workers and factories
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must abide by safety procedures
• Willingness to work rotating on call shifts and overtime if needed
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and creative problem-solving
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• Great diagnostic skills
