Job summary

Authorized Commercial Equip is seeking technicians to repair commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment. Service calls are typically within a 50 mile radius of Charlotte, NC, with emphasis on reliability and customer service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of technical experience with commercial refrigeration, a High School diploma or GED, a valid EPA certificate, and the ability to work with customers and factories.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical experience with commercial refrigeration equipment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid EPA Certificate required.
• Ability to work with customers, co-workers and factories.
• Valid driver s license with clean record.
• Must follow safety procedures and be able to work on call shifts and overtime.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform service calls as dispatched.
• Diagnose and repair reported service issues and other problems.
• Accurately detail activities on service orders.
• Operate and manage company vehicle and equipment.
• Work in accordance with company guidelines.
• Identify potential failures of current equipment.

Required

• 2 years+ technical experience with commercial refrigeration equipment
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid EPA Certificate
• Ability to work as a team with customers, co-workers and factories
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must abide by safety procedures
• Willingness to work rotating on call shifts and overtime if needed
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and creative problem-solving
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• Great diagnostic skills
