Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to provide technical support for refrigeration systems across assigned stores. You will install, service, and repair compressors, cases, and related equipment to keep stores running smoothly.

The role requires 2–4 years in commercial refrigeration, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. You will travel to locations with a service van and perform preventive maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Should possess and maintain a driver's license and good driving record.
• Demonstrates use of hand tools, gauges, pressure washer, torch, and meters.
• Demonstrates the knowledge gained by 2 to 4 years of commercial refrigeration experience, preferably in the supermarket industry.
• Should possess good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Should be able to climb ladders 6-24 feet and maintain balance on a ladder when necessary.
• Should be able to lift 60 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. consistently.

Responsibilities

• Installs/changes compressors and cases in new and/or remodeled stores.
• Checks and adjusts refrigerator temperatures and pressures.
• Performs mechanical repairs including: washing condensers and cases; welding; HVAC; plumbing; refrigerant leaks; any other store mechanical needs.
• Drives service van to necessary locations
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
