A full-service mechanical contractor in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking skilled Refrigeration Technicians to join their growing commercial HVAC/R team. The ideal candidates will have experience diagnosing and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, possess a Universal EPA certification, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Qualifications

• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems including coolers, display cases, and ice machines.
• Rack refrigeration experience preferred, not required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex refrigeration systems.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose breakdown causes and make necessary repairs.
• Assemble and disassemble parts of refrigeration equipment.

A day in the life:

• Use your Refrigeration skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain small to large sized/complex refrigeration systems and associated control systems
• Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to refrigeration equipment and associated components

You should have:

• Experience at diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems (i.e., cooler display cases, reach-in's, walk-in boxes, and ice machines) and related controls
• Rack refrigeration experience (preferred, not required)
• Universal EPA certification
• Highschool diploma or equivalent
