Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or drawings to determine location, size, capacity and type of components.
• Mount components such as compressor and condenser using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Cut, bend and braze tubing to form refrigerant lines for inlets and outlets.
• Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with refrigerant.
• Assemble and mount electrical wiring circuits, controls and recording devices.
• Read measuring instruments and fasten parts using bolts, screws, or fasteners.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require and maintain a clean, safe area.
