Job summary

CoolSys is hiring Refrigeration Start-up Technicians to install and commission supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. The role requires strong EMS knowledge, 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, and the ability to read blueprints. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems.
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial refrigeration; CO2 a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints for refrigeration/electrical/plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Perform EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems.
• Start-up of new parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
• Lead small projects such as single case and condenser changeouts.
• Assist EO projects, retro-commissioning and EMS upgrades.
• Collaborate with local branch Service and Construction Managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
