Job summary

CoolSys is seeking skilled field technicians to inspect and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems across commercial sites. You’ll service compressors, air handlers, and control devices, performing diagnostics and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, EPA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy equipment. On‑site work with a focus on safety and customer service across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/vocational coursework encouraged.
• 1–3 years of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical experience.
• Must pass Tech Skills level 3 with 80% or better; EPA certificate and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Test malfunctioning systems using electrical/mechanical skills.
• Provide preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment failures.
• Perform startup work on new installations and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain legible work records and documentation.
