Job summary

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to repair and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across diverse projects. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing start-ups, and executing preventative maintenance with attention to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience, EPA certification, and the ability to read schematics. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs are required for field service work.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical work.
• Valid EPA certificate required for handling refrigerants.
• Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and related controls.
• Test systems and diagnose malfunctions using electrical/mechanical skills.
• Maintain records of work history and service performed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and start-ups for new installations.
