CoolSys is hiring a Senior Service Technician to service refrigeration and HVAC systems in the field. You will repair, overhaul, test, and maintain commercial equipment across various sites, reporting to supervisors and ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• ,
• 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is a basic requirement.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. with no assistance and also be able to sit and/or stand for several hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time as scheduled by supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul refrigeration equipment including compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and related controls.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions and operating efficiency.
• Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects including startups of new installations.
• Other duties as assigned.
