Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience in poultry or related industrial areas.
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience with emphasis on boiler, refrigeration and wastewater treatment operations.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and leadership ability.
• Working knowledge of state-of-the-art control devices.
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise shift maintenance for all refrigeration.
• Prepare work schedules and mechanic duty assignments to support maintenance program and USDA requirements.
• Inspect for safe working habits and high-quality workmanship; ensure repairs are effective.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance requests to ensure timely completion.
• Estimate materials and manpower costs for job orders and projects.
• Inspect equipment; prepare maintenance repair requests.
