You will monitor product cooler temperatures, respond to trouble calls, and ensure safety, sanitation, and USDA compliance. A minimum of five years' refrigeration experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and Freon system certification are required; weekend and rotating shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of refrigeration experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct in emergency situations.
• Strong written and verbal English communications.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work from a ladder.
• Certification to work on Freon systems is required or will be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Observe and repair ammonia systems, air compressors, chilled water, chlorine, ice maker and delivery systems.
• Monitor and adjust product cooler temperatures.
• Respond to trouble calls promptly and effectively.
• Perform general cleaning and assist other crews while maintaining safety, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Help maintain quality and compliance with USDA requirements.
