Job summary

Dart Commercial Services, LLC. in Lafayette, LA is seeking Refrigeration Installer Helpers to support the installation of refrigeration equipment at various sites. You will assist installers with welding, schematics, and floor plans, connect components, and verify proper operation of sensors and thermostats.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable communication with management and customers. A high school diploma or GED is expected; some mechanical exposure helps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Mechanical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a stellar safety record and use PPE as required.
• Communicate with management, customer and technicians regarding timing, location, and method of installation.
• Assist in fabrication and installation per drawings and specifications; read schematics and manuals.
• Connect systems to electrical, control, fuel, water lines, ducts and other utilities.
• Assist in testing and adjustments of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Assist with ordering, pickup, delivery and installation of materials.
