Job summary

Dart Commercial Services is seeking a Refrigeration Installer Helper in Baton Rouge to assist in installing refrigeration equipment per drawings and specs. You will support the installer with electrical hookups, welding and layout tasks, while ensuring safe, efficient operations at customer locations.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, the ability to read schematics, and a commitment to safety. Travel to varying retailer sites may be required; competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or high school diploma; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Mechanical experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to travel to retailer work locations and Company sites as needed.
• Must use PPE and maintain safety while on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing refrigeration equipment per drawings and specifications.
• Assist in connecting electrical services and other utilities.
• Test installed systems and make necessary adjustments.
• Order, pick up, deliver, and install materials needed to maintain equipment.
