Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems in supermarkets and retail facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete service tickets with professionalism and accuracy.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, HVAC-R technical schooling preferred, and EPA 608 Certification. Valid driver’s license, physical capability, and willingness to work nights/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC-R technical schooling degree preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required or, at minimum, documented eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning systems with supervision as needed.
• Maintain accurate work tickets and time sheets; use handheld devices for invoicing.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relations and effective communication of issues.
