Qualifications

• Must hold Grade III Boiler Operator license or attain within 24 months.
• CFC Universal certification is required.
• WA Refrigeration Mechanic license or eligibility within one year.
• Possess a valid WA Driver’s license.
• High School diploma or equivalent; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair refrigerators, freezers, cold and warm room equipment, heat pumps, incubators and ice machines across campus.
• Respond to alarms, diagnose problems and recommend repairs.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Inspect equipment and systems; clean coils and replace worn parts as required.
• Operate cutter and welding equipment; read electrical diagrams.
• Maintain and repair pipe systems and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Work with and/or train apprentices and other OEs.
