Job summary

Stewart's Shops in Town of Madison, NY is seeking an experienced Refrigeration/HVAC technician to maintain shop equipment, diagnose and repair HVAC systems, and perform basic building maintenance. Excellent candidates will hold universal refrigeration/HVAC certification and a trade program credential, with clean driving records and a valid license.

As a full-time role with on-call responsibilities, applicants should be prepared for some nights and weekends and to pass a DOT physical and drug

Qualifications

• Universal Certification in Refrigeration/HVAC.
• Completion of Refrigeration/HVAC program from Trade School preferred.
• Experience in refrigeration/HVAC diagnostic and repair.
• Valid license and clean driving record; vehicle provided.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills.
• Ability to do heavy lifting; self-managed.
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen and background check.

We’re looking for applicants experienced in Refrigeration / HVAC, and general maintenance to work in our shops!

Requirements

• Universal Certification in Refrigeration/HVAC.
• Completion of Refrigeration/HVAC program from Trade School preferred.
• Must have experience in refrigeration / HVAC diagnostic and repair.
• Must have a valid license and clean driving record/ Vehicle will be provided.
• Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electric skills.
• Ability to do some heavy lifting and be self-managed.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screen and background check prior to starting

This is a full-time position with on-call responsibilities including some nights and weekends.
