Job summary

Stewart's Shops is expanding its HVAC/R installation team based at our Ballston Spa, NY corporate office. The role covers installation and maintenance of walk-in refrigeration units, with a focus on reliable, on-time service.

Candidates should have 5+ years in HVAC service/installation, EPA Universal Certification, and strong communication skills; vocational training is preferred. Occasional overnight travel and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking to expand our HVAC/R installation team. Our Facilities Department provides support to our shops, rental properties and district staff. The right candidate will work well under pressure in a team environment and be solutions focused. A company vehicle and tools/gauges are provided. This position is based out of our corporate office in Ballston Spa, NY.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of walk-in refrigeration units.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair self-contained refrigerated equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in service and installation.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certificate.
• Vocational or Tech Training preferred.
• Electric and Plumbing experience preferred.
• Must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel to job sites - company vehicle provided.
• Occasional overnight travel and on-call responsibility.
