Job summary

Stewart's Shops is expanding its HVAC/R installation team. The role is based at our corporate office in Ballston Spa, NY, with a company vehicle provided and tools/gauges.

You will install and maintain walk-in refrigeration units, troubleshoot and repair self-contained refrigerated equipment, and travel to job sites as needed. The ideal candidate has at least five years of HVAC service experience, EPA Universal Certificate, and strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in service and installation.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certificate.
• Electric and Plumbing experience preferred.
• Must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.

Job description

We are looking to expand our HVAC/R installation team. Our Facilities Department provides support to our shops, rental properties and district staff. The right candidate will work well under pressure in a team environment and be solutions focused. A company vehicle and tools/gauges are provided. This position is based out of our corporate office in Ballston Spa, NY.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of walk-in refrigeration units.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair self-contained refrigerated equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in service and installation.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certificate.
• Vocational or Tech Training preferred.
• Electric and Plumbing experience preferred.
• Must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
• Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel to job sites – company vehicle provided.
• Occasional overnight travel and on-call responsibility.
