Job summary

TAG Refrigeration Colorado is seeking a Refrigeration Construction Foreman to lead commercial refrigeration and construction projects in the Columbia, SC area. You will oversee daily field operations, ensure safety and quality, and serve as the main liaison between crews and project leadership.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to interpret plans, and strong communication with project stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs.
• Understanding construction processes and equipment.
• Experience leading field crews on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct field crews and resources to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Organize daily activities of crews, subcontractors, equipment and materials.
• Monitor staffing, productivity and performance on site.
• Plan work sequences to maximize efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.
• Track schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
• Read project plans, specs and schedules on site.
• Operate equipment as needed to support execution.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of company equipment.
