Job summary

Greenwich Terminals LLC in Philadelphia is seeking a Terminal Superintendent to oversee refrigerated container operations. You will direct ILA longshore labor, coordinate with truck loading/unloading, maintenance, and CFS activities, and ensure safe, efficient terminal performance.

You should have strong leadership, planning, and computer skills, with the ability to work across departments to resolve issues and maintain seamless operations. First and second/third shifts available.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems, anticipate issues, and follow through to completion.
• Must supervise and direct groups of individuals.
• Leadership role in oversight and safety program.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers and their agents, and vendors.
• Good correspondence and computer skills; learn in-house network.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and assign work to ILA Longshoremen.
• Monitor refrigerated container operations and other terminal operations.
• Assist with truck loading/unloading, maintenance, and CFS operations.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless integration.
• Proactively resolve problems and maintain safety program adherence.
