A-Gas in the Americas is seeking a reliable Shop Technician to support our local team with cylinder preparation and refrigerant consolidation at the Hatfield Township facility near Philadelphia. The role manages the cylinder fleet, inbound/outbound flow, inventory, and the Ready for pickup process, while assisting technicians and maintaining a clean workspace.

The position requires lifting up to 75 pounds, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain an EPA 608 license within two weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull cylinders up to 75+ pounds.
• Knowledge of the HVAC refrigerant handling preferred but training provided.
• EPA 608 license within 14 days of employment or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cylinder fleet for the shop location, including inbound/outbound cylinders and consolidation.
• Inventory management and tracking via cylinder management software.
• Prepare cylinders for pickup and return to the reclamation facility.
• Assist technicians with loading/unloading the work trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform routine maintenance on recovery equipment.
• Follow EPA regulations and safety procedures.
