Job summary

A-Gas in the Americas is seeking a Cylinder Exchange Technician to drive the Rapid Exchange program across a defined territory. You will collect and drop off refrigerant cylinders, label them accurately, and ensure equipment is well maintained while delivering outstanding service.

Role requires a valid CDL with hazmat endorsement, EPA 608 license within 14 days, and the ability to lift 75+ lbs. You will report daily and weekly results and collaborate with the Rapid Recovery Network Services team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B license with hazmat endorsement within 30 days of employment.
• EPA 608 license within 14 days of employment.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Rapid Exchange program within a territory, including interactions with customers and prospects.
• Operate the cylinder exchange program by picking up and dropping off refrigerant gas cylinders at customer locations using a box truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding the competitive landscape and customer needs to build loyalty and opportunities.
• Prepare and label cylinders correctly.
• Operate an electric pallet jack and lift gate to load and unload shipments.
• Consolidate refrigerants into half-ton cylinders.
• Keep accurate reports and submit daily work orders and weekly expense reports on time.
• Maintain assigned vehicle in good condition and follow safety practices.
