Job summary

A-Gas Americas is hiring a full-time Field Service Technician to support HVAC and specialty gas customers within a defined geographic area. You will drive the company truck, perform reclamation and recovery services for refrigerants and other gases, and deliver hands-on field support.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, and strong safety and computer skills. EPA Universal Certification is preferred or obtainable within 14 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related industry or mechanical experience preferred.
• Flexibility in working hours; overtime may be required.
• Technical knowledge and adherence to safety procedures mandatory.
• Computer skills including typing and using current technology required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive company truck to designated sites daily for reclamation and recovery services.
• Provide exceptional service and customer support to clients.
• Identify opportunities for service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales to meet territory targets.
• Submit daily work orders and weekly expense reports promptly.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, safe, and good condition per manual.
• Operate electric pallet jack as needed.
• Work safely and follow all safety standards; participate in DOT random drug testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
