Responsibilities

• Schedules surgeries and manages changes with priorities and patient needs.
• Coordinates patient medical history/clearance with nurses or PCP.
• Prepares surgery schedule for review by clinicians.
• Adheres to scheduling guidelines and processes.
• Educates patients on procedures and preoperative preparation.
• Handles payment collection.
• Captures IOL measurements and calculations per lens requirements.
• Documents EMR accurately and notes surgeon-specific needs.
• Performs ophthalmic procedures and testing as scheduled.
