Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking a Body Shop Prep Technician II to prepare all assigned vehicles for the refinish and re-assembly process. The role requires reviewing repair orders and following factory specifications to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6–12 months related work experience in a similar position.
• Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets insurability guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review each repair order, work order, and estimator’s notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicle.
• All repairs must be completed according to the documentation on the repair order, estimate, or supplement.
• Review the daily paint list with the paint technician.
• Perform all paint preparation and refinish procedures according to factory specifications and company policy.
• Review work order and initial all completed refinish items.
• Perform and sign off on quality check.
