The role serves as deputy to the Refinery Senior Finance Manager, focusing on value-led, technology-enabled finance and integrated decision support. The role combines strategic finance, FP&A, and commercial insight in a high-impact, cross-functional setting with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, analyzing, or managing performance to support business goals.
• Strong commercial and economic understanding with investments/business cases.
• Experience managing senior partners in complex matrix environments.
• Capital-intensive or operational business experience; refinery experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive margin, cost, and capital efficiency improvements through structured interventions.
• Lead Vulnerabilities and Opportunities process to support annual plan delivery.
• Ensure end-to-end value optimization across decisions.
• Own relationships with performance/superintendent and budget holders.
• Serve as integration point between business and FP&A.
• Act as deputy to Refinery Senior Finance Manager.
• Represent Finance at Cost / Capex / GM steercos.
• Enable insight-driven discussions for integrated value.
