Job summary

Denali Universal Services seeks an Instructor to conduct training classes at the BP Whiting Refinery site under the supervision of the Lead Instructor. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and hands-on instruction in accordance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities include delivering New Hire Orientation Safety Center Training, CBT and management trainings, and refresher sessions, with a readiness to fill in for other classes and to work in a professional office setting around diverse

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to teach and train others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from the work site. Valid driver’s license preferred.
• As a condition of employment, must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation, drug screen, and a post-offer physical.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and/or conduct training for the workforce in accordance with contract requirements.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation Safety Center Training and related safety programs.
• Deliver CBT and management trainings.
• Deliver ½ day trainings to trainees not working under a permit.
• Willingness to fill-in, on occasion, at select classes in the absence of the regularly scheduled instructor.
• Willingness to perform other duties as required.
• Work safely and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
