Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 10 years of public affairs, community relations, media relations, government affairs, communications, and/or related experience required.
• Demonstrated experience building relationships with external stakeholders and advising leadership on public affairs or external issues required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes local Public Affairs strategies aligned with refinery objectives.
• Builds and maintains relationships with local officials, agencies, business and civic organizations.
• Monitors issues affecting refinery operations and advises leadership on responses.
• Coordinates with Corporate Government Affairs on local legislative and public policy matters.
• Serves as the official local spokesperson and coordinates media responses.
• Supports emergency communications and incident response with Corporate Communications.
