Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually
The Refinery Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily operations within a refinery to ensure efficient and safe production processes. This position is responsible for managing production teams, coordinating workflow, and maintaining operational standards to meet production targets and quality specifications. The supervisor will monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize output. Additionally, the role involves enforcing safety protocols and regulatory compliance to protect personnel and the environment. Ultimately, the Refinery Production Supervisor ensures that department operations run smoothly and safely.
RESPONSIBILITIESWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places; in outside weather conditions; and with explosives and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment. If duties require entry to an arsenic or cadmium-controlled area, appropriate respiratory protection must be worn.
